The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers announced the induction of Bernard Nomberg as a Fellow in April 2026.
“The election as a Fellow is the highest recognition by one’s colleagues of sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication and excellence,” stated a news release by the organization.
Established in 2007, the College was the vision of a number of the Fellows who had the idea to further establish this profession in all its aspects as one uniquely important to the world of workers’ compensation law. It operates as a free-standing organization, recognizing those who, by long and outstanding service, have distinguished themselves as leaders in the field.

It’s an honor to be chosen as a Fellow by the College,” said attorney Bernard Nomberg. “The attorneys at the Nomberg Law Firm will continue to strive for excellence in all of our workers’ comp endeavors.”
A ceremony honoring the chosen few, called an “installation of Fellows,” was held on April 18, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona, during an annual banquet. At the current time, the College is represented by nearly 600 members across 48 states, the District of Columbia, and the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario.
According to the College, “Members have been nominated for the outstanding traits they have developed in their practice of twenty years or longer, representing plaintiffs and defendants, serving as judges, or acting for the benefit of all in education, overseeing agencies, and developing legislation.
These individuals have convinced their peers, the bar, bench and public that they possess the highest levels of:
- Professional qualifications
- Ethical standards
- Character
- Integrity
- Professional expertise
- Leadership
Fellows commit to fostering and furthering the objectives of the College and have shown significant evidence of scholarship, teaching, lecturing and/or distinguished published writings on workers’ comp or related fields of law.”
Congratulations to Bernard for receiving this distinguished honor!
